Florian Bachleda is the Creative Director (NYC) at Godfrey Dadich Partners, a strategy, design, and content firm headquartered in San Francisco. The team of strategists, designers, and writers engineer strategies to define organizational purpose, create designs for world-changing experiences, and author content that drives immersive, action-oriented engagement. Bachleda leads the New York Art Department.

Previously, he was the Creative Director of Fast Company Media, where he directed the creative content for the digital and print platforms. As Creative Director of FB Design, his clients included Condé Nast, Hearst, McKinsey & Company, Time Inc., and Pharrell’s “I Am Other” collective. He was also Creative Director of Latina, Design Director of Vibe, Art Director of New York magazine, and has worked at Entertainment Weekly and The Village Voice.

At Fast Company, Bachleda and his team won 6 Gold Medals and 10 Silver Medals from the Society of Publication Designers. The Gold Medals included wins for the 2011 “Redesign of the Year” and the 2013 “Brand of the Year” - which awards a brand for it's magazine, website, and apps. They were also nominated for the 2012 “Magazine of the Year”, the 2012 “Tablet App of the Year,” and the 2016 “App of the Year”.

In 2014, Fast Company won the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) National Magazine Award for “Magazine of the Year” - the industry's highest honor - which awards a brand for it's magazine, website, apps, live events, and brand extensions.

Bachleda and his teams have also won additional awards from the Society of Publication Designers, American Photography, American Illustration, Print magazine and Communication Arts, among others. He has taught at the School of Visual Arts and has chaired and juried numerous design, photography and illustration competitions. He has served as President of the Society of Publication Designers (SPD) and was on its Board of Directors for five years.
